Cancellation policy
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Trips cancelled at least 24 hours before departure get a full refund. No refunds when cancelling within 24 hours. (Exceptions apply depending on the nature of the reason).
Can’t make it? Please still let us know, even within the 24 hours, since we might be able to sell your seats and will then be able to give you a refund.
Weather
When we cancel a trip due to weather, you have the option of rescheduling or a full refund.
High winds can stop us from going. In case it is raining or about to rain we can still go but we understand that you would prefer not to go when it is raining, therefore we give you the option of braving the weather or rescheduling/refund.
Deals
Subject to availability, minimum of 4 people per trip.
1 kid per adult goes free when we are running Mou Waho Island trip Kids Go Free deal. Not valid in conjunction with other promotions or discounts unless clearly stated
Minimum Numbers
We need a minimum of 4 people on most of our tours and trips for it to go ahead.
Wanaka 4×4 Explorer: a minimum of 2 people.
Vessels
We have 3 vessels:
Kapiti Explorer is an 8.5 meter vessel that can hold a max of 19 people.
Te Toa and Maxi Taxi are both 7.5 meter vessels that can hold a max of 18 people.
Department of Conservation maximum numbers for the islands are 16 people.
All 3 vessels will be used on our tours.
