Brent has been a boat skipper for 25 years. Working in the New Zealand tourism industry he started driving boats around icebergs at Mt Cook and has driven jet boats in Queenstown, Taxis in Abel Tasman, sailed his own yacht through the Pacific, and guided rafts down rivers in New Zealand and Japan. An avid climber and skier he has climbed Mt Cook twice and pursued his climbing passion to places like China, Russia, Greenland, Europe, and the US. He is passionate about the Wanaka area and loves being out on the lake or up in the mountains. He enjoys hearing of others’ travel adventures and is happy to share his experiences and knowledge of the local area with you.

Originally from the Netherlands, Krystle came to Wanaka in 2009 to teach skiing. After alternating winters between New Zealand and Austria for a number of years she eventually made Wanaka her home.
Krystle loves being in or on the water and enjoys nothing more than a long swim in the cool clear waters of Lake Wanaka.
Mou Waho Island is her favorite place in Wanaka and when not manning the office our sailing our small water taxi, she can be found stowing away on one of our boat trips to the island.  She loves Wanaka and the natural beauty this place offers. She is passionate about riding the waters through water sports like kayak and surfing.

Originally from Hawea, after finishing school Shilo pursued a lifestyle focused around the outdoors. Raft guiding for a good portion of her early 20’s she became interested in the Maritime industry. She eventually completed a diploma in Nautical Science as well as her SRL at the New Zealand Maritime School. Our vessels are the smallest vessels she has ever worked on.

Not only is she an excellent skipper, she’ll definitely make you crack up with her great banter.

In her spare time you’ll find her kayaking, riding her bike and enjoying all that the area has to offer.

A born and bred kiwi, Charlie grew up holidaying in the region, and has lived in and around Wanaka for the last 10 years. Coming from a professional services background, predominantly based in our larger cities, he was attracted to Central Otago due to its wide open spaces, beautiful scenery and pristine environment. An experienced off-roader, Charlie spends a fair chunk of his precious spare time exploring the rivers, lakes and mountains the region has to offer, and taking the opportunities they provide to pursue his love of fishing, hunting and the great outdoors generally. Charlie enjoys nothing more than showing off our amazing landscapes, and welcomes you on board to share a unique and unforgettable experience in our high country.

Another born and bred kiwi Jason moved to Wanaka nearly 30 years ago to follow his passion for the outdoors. A love for skiing and fishing lead him to become a ski instructor in the winters and a fly fishing and adventure guide for the summers. Besides Wanaka, the West Coast of South Island is his next most favorite place to be. Hunting, sea fishing, and diving are all at your fingertips in this relatively untouched wilderness. Jason started his career as a skipper over 20 years ago and can account for hundreds of hours spent on Lake Wanaka. Not only Wanaka, but he has also skippered boats for Abel Tasman Water Taxis, a tour boat out of Akaroa, and on a commercial fishing boat out of Port Lincoln in Australia.
